Aesthetic Ceramic Restorations

Ceramic restorations are important treatment choices that take place in most of dental treatments. Ceramic restorations are required when a tooth cannot be restorated with fillings, in the case of missing tooth, evidence of unsatisfied esthetic appearance; in this way the patients get a perfect smile. For a long time iron to fused ceramic restorations have been applied in perfect manner, but recently some other ceramic types are developed such as laminate, zirconium and empress restorations which do not include iron base that cause unwanted esthetic appearance. Both iron to fused ceramics, zirconium laminate and empress restorations are taking place in our dental treatments and they are different in terms of esthetic aspect, endurance and so on. What kind of treatment is best for each patient can only be decided by the dentist after his oral examination.
